Attach one-half inch (1/2") rope to Trip Lanyard (Small Thimble "A") and Plunger Lanyard (Ring "B") of sufficient length to be handheld when load is 'lifted' into position and secured so Shackle can be released.
TO ATTACH SHACKLE: When the Plunger (B) is 'retracted' the Trip (A) is 'spring-loaded' and will be extended into the Plunger (B) and will 'hold' the Plunger (B) in the retracted position. To release the Plunger (B), simply 'pull' (retract) the Trip Lanyard (A) and the Plunger (B) will 'extend' into position for lifting and the Trip (A) will extend 'behind' the Plunger (B) to 'lock' the Plunger (B) in the extended position. BOTH ROPES ON "A" AND "B" MUST BE SEPARATE AND NOT TIED TOGETHER.
NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THE SHACKLES TO BE USED WHILE VIBRO OR IMPACT HAMMER IS ACTIVATED. Use of Vibro or Impact hammer with shackles attached will result in damage to shackles. User must not use ropes as 'Tag Lines' under any circumstance! Full attention by the User must be given to both ropes attached to the Trip Lanyard and the Plunger Lanyard at all times to prevent them from becoming 'fouled' and/or 'snagged'!
TO RELEASE SHACKLE: Pull (retract) the Trip (A) and hold in the 'retracted' position, until the Plunger (B) is retracted, then release the Trip (A) and it will extend into the Plunger (B) and keep the Plunger (B) from 're-extending'.

Attach "Tag Line" to Plunger Lanyard Ring and attach a second "Tag Line" to Trip Lanyard
TO RETRACT PLUNGER: Pull Trip Lanyard and hold Trip momentarily to dis-engage from Plunger - Pull Plunger Lanyard slightly, and release Trip Lanyard, then retract the Plunger all the way until the Trip re-engages and keep the Plunger retracted. This will 'detach' Shackle from Load.
NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THE SHACKLES TO BE USED WHILE VIBRO OR IMPACT HAMMER IS ACTIVATED. Use of Vibro or Impact hammer with shackles attached will result in damage to shackles. User must not use ropes as ‘Tag Lines’ under any circumstance! Full attention by the User must be given to both ropes attached to the Trip Lanyard and the Plunger Lanyard at all times to prevent them from becoming ‘fouled’ and/or ‘snagged’!
TO EXTEND PLUNGER: Pull Trip Lanyard and Plunger will be released and will engage automatically and attach to Load.

The Lifting chokers below the Hook are 3/4" diameter x 36" overall and attached at 60 degrees or less for maximum capacity to the Spreader Bar with adequate Safety/Bolt Shackles. Beneath the 'stiffener' Bar/Plate of the Spreader Bar are six holes, three each side of center. These are for 'width' adjustment for different width Sheet Pile. Two adequate Safety/Bolt Shackles are attached to the Spreader Bar in the desired holes and two 3/4" diameter x 36" overall chokers.
